## Getting started

**What is NannaLife?**
NannaLife is a free web app that turns the lab reports you already have into one private, source-linked health timeline. You upload a lab report PDF or photo, NannaLife extracts the biomarkers, standardizes names and units across labs, and tracks how each value changes over time.

**Is NannaLife free?**
Yes. Every feature is on the free plan. There is no premium tier, no locked feature, and no credit card required. There are no paid plans or payment processing in the product today.

**Do I need an account?**
Yes. Google Sign-In is the only sign-in method currently enabled. Everything behind sign-in is private to that account.

**How do I get started?**
Create an account at https://app.nannalife.com with Google Sign-In, then upload a lab report as a PDF or a photo.

## Uploading reports

**What can I upload?**
PDF, PNG, JPEG, or TIFF files, up to 50 MB each. Scans and phone photos of printed reports work as long as the values are legible.

**How large can a report be?**
Up to 50 MB per report file. Reports upload directly from your browser to secure object storage.

**Can I upload a photo of a printed report?**
Yes. PNG, JPEG, and TIFF photos and scans are supported alongside PDFs.

**Does it work with reports from my lab?**
NannaLife is built for reports from different labs and regions. It reads varied layouts and standardizes biomarker names and units so results from different labs line up on one timeline. See https://nannalife.com/guides/lab-reports-india.

**Can I upload several reports at once?**
Yes. You can select multiple report files in one upload.

## Your timeline

**What does NannaLife extract?**
Biomarkers and their values, units, reference ranges, panels, and report dates. Markers are mapped to LOINC codes and names and units are normalized across labs.

**What does the health score mean?**
NannaLife computes an overall health score for each profile from the results it holds, updated as reports are added. It is a summary of your own results, not a diagnosis.

**How does it decide if a result is healthy, borderline, or critical?**
Each result is classified against its own reference range as healthy, borderline, critical, or unknown. Results without a usable range stay unknown rather than being guessed.

**Can I see how a value changed over time?**
Yes. Each biomarker has a history showing its value across your reports.

**What if a value is extracted incorrectly?**
Every value stays linked to the source document, so you can open the original report and check it. AI extraction can be wrong or incomplete; verify important values against the original.

## NannaDoc

**What is NannaDoc?**
The AI assistant inside NannaLife. It answers questions using your own results across all your reports and points back to where each answer comes from.

**What can NannaDoc see?**
The latest value for any biomarker, how results changed over time, results outside their reference ranges, and the original text of your reports. It cannot invent results it cannot see.

**Does NannaDoc give medical advice?**
No. It provides general health information in the context of your own results. It does not diagnose, does not recommend medications or dosages, and is not a substitute for a doctor. For anything urgent, contact a doctor or your local emergency number.

## Family

**Can I track my family's reports?**
Yes. Each person gets a separate timeline, and you choose whether someone you invite can view or edit a profile.

**Who can see a family member's profile?**
Only the people the owner invites, with the access level the owner grants. Access is set per profile.

## Privacy and data

**Who can see my reports?**
Only you and the people you explicitly invite to a profile. There are no public profiles or public report pages, so a signed-out visitor only reaches the sign-in screen.

**Do you sell my health data?**
No. NannaLife does not sell your health data or share it for advertising.

**Are my reports used to train AI models?**
Report content is sent to the AI provider used by the app only to extract and structure your results. NannaLife does not use your reports to train models. See https://nannalife.com/legal/privacy.

**Can I delete my data?**
There is not yet a self-service delete screen, so deletion is handled by request. Email privacy@nannalife.com or support@nannalife.com. Retention details are in the Privacy Policy.

## Platform

**Does it work on my phone?**
Yes. NannaLife is a mobile-first web app that runs in the browser on phone or desktop, with no install. Dark mode only.

**Is there an iOS or Android app?**
No native app is published. NannaLife runs in the browser at https://app.nannalife.com.

**What languages are supported?**
The interface is currently English only. Report parsing is not tied to a language.

## Limits

**Is NannaLife a medical device or healthcare provider?**
No. It is a software and information service. It is not a healthcare provider, clinic, laboratory, or medical device, and it does not diagnose or treat. AI output can be incorrect or incomplete.

**Who builds NannaLife?**
NannaLife is built in Bengaluru, India. The name is Kannada for "my life".
